    We are seeking an Manager of IT Applications/Project Manager for a role in Pembroke Pines, FL. This person will be managing a team of implementation/applications developers as well as a business analyst. You will be managing software releases of interfacing products, as well as helping to define the product development strategy. This position will also be helping to drive initiatives within the IT department. This role is also responsible for all business solutions including POS, CRM, ERP and more. You will be the owner responsible for all vendor management for application solutions. This is a hands-on manager and requires someone with strong organizational and documentation skills.    


    Occasional travel may be required. 


    • Manage application development team
    • Ensure all processes are well-documented
    • Manage and direct software developers
    • Evaluate performance and hold performance reviews with all team members you manage
    • Help recruit and hire new team members
    • Ensure projects are on-time and on-budget
    • Work with other departments to find creative solutions to meet customer needs
    • Use strong judgement in decision making 
    • Define the enterprise application portfolio and architecture
    • Help develop prototypes
    • Manage relationships and ensure SLA compliance
    • Liaison between IT and vendors
    • Build a roadmap to ensure successful implementations
    • Create concepts and business cases
    • Make recommendations to senior management
    • Understand full integration/implementation between our enterprise systems
    • Eliminate legacy systems 
    • Adhere to Project Management methodologies 
    • Track project progress
    • Ensure HIPAA and other corporate policies are met at all times
    • Lead and mentor staff

    • Design/implement both hardware and software solutions
    • Follow project management principals
    • BS Degree
    • 7+ years leading teams
    • Experience in project lifecycles 
    • 3+ years managing client relationships
    • 2+ years in business/systems analysis a +
    • Waterfall and Agile
    • Retail/multi-location environment experience 
    • PMP® certifications highly valued
    • Experience in PMO a +
