Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Director/Manager of Business Development for a major technology company. Join a team with 20 years of experience in the business providing mobile and web development solutions to a variety of industries. This role will manage the East Coast region. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on sales role prospecting leads that are targets for technology services 
  • Strong documentation of sales process
  • Plan meetings with prospects and clients and understand their needs to facilitate a sale
  • Develop sales strategies
  • Create proposals that turn prospects into clients 
  • Report to management on prospecting and deal status updates 
  • Close deals and transition to other teams 
  • Help develop sales process internally via customer feedback 

Qualifications

  • Track record of success in tech sales industry
  • Love of digital development and mobile apps 
  • 4+ years of IT services sales experience
  • Experience targeting the following industries preferred: financial services/banking/insurance, retail, ecommerce, healthcare, entertainment/media, technology 
  • Working knowledge of mobile apps and able to answer client questions 
  • Able to communicate clearly
  • Strong CRM and documentation skills 
  • Social media selling skills
  • College degree with preference for MBA
