  • Overview

    As Director of Sales and Business Development, you will work with prospects and call attention to the different risks and opportunities that exist across today’s healthcare analytic landscape while exploring the ways business leaders can stimulate progress. Our team is looking for individuals who are passionate around problem solving and motivated to work in a team environment.This candidate will increase adoption and distribution of data products into the healthcare analytics market. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background. Responsibilities include the development of sales and marketing strategies, development of customer relationships, and the generation and qualification of a prospect pipeline. The candidate will work closely with many different associates, including data science, actuarial, business development, clinical, and engineering. Applicants with experience in software sales in the analytic science industry or within the healthcare environment are preferred. 

    Responsibilities

    • Devise unique value propositions and sales plans around CI products and solutions for health plans.
    • Develop relationships with existing and new clients to create opportunities for new sales and upgrades. 
    • Travel for in-person meetings with potential customers and development of key relationships.
    • Coordinate with Marketing and Business Development to create a strategy for presenting products to potential customers, including demos at conferences and trade-shows.
    • Work exclusively with executive management to develop and maintain the sales pipeline.
    • Ability to organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities.
    • Work with executive management and accounting to develop ROI analyses 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science or related field (MBA preferred).
    • Experience in business/corporate development with demonstrable record of successful SaaS or PaaS sales
    • Minimum of five years of experience in either big data analytics, technology, and/or healthcare preferred
    • Knowledge of the analytic services, technology and healthcare industries
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment
